
I did not know I had so much food stocked up until I began using only the pantry to cook these past few weeks. In March, I have only spent $12 on groceries: milk, banans, salad items (all from the marked-down section) and some chocolate ice cream that was absolutely necessary.
*Note: we are eating a lot of potatoes this week, because I have a 10lb bag that is about to go bad.
This week's menu:
Monday:
B: eggs, sausage, toast
L: tuna salad sandwiches
D: BBQ ribs, baked potatoes, green beans, chocolate cake
Tuesday:
B: oatmeal
L: chicken salad sandwiches (Pre-cooked, frozen chicken from freezer)
D: Meatloaf, loaded mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, broccoli
Wednesday:
B: cold cereal
L: leftovers
D: Marinated Spicy Mango chicken tenders, twice baked potatoes, carrots and peas
Thursday:
B: choice of whatever still needs to be used up
L: leftovers
D: corn dogs, french fries
Friday: Moving Day
B: Whatever is quickest to fix and uses the least amount of dishes
L: Take out fried chicken from KFC
D: Ordering pizza to feed all of the friends who are helping us move
