MPM: Pantry Challenge, Week 3

I did not know I had so much food stocked up until I began using only the pantry to cook these past few weeks. In March, I have only spent $12 on groceries: milk, banans, salad items (all from the marked-down section) and some chocolate ice cream that was absolutely necessary.
*Note: we are eating a lot of potatoes this week, because I have a 10lb bag that is about to go bad.
This week's menu:
Monday:
B: eggs, sausage, toast
L: tuna salad sandwiches
D: BBQ ribs, baked potatoes, green beans, chocolate cake
Tuesday:
B: oatmeal
L: chicken salad sandwiches (Pre-cooked, frozen chicken from freezer)
D: Meatloaf, loaded mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, broccoli
Wednesday:
B: cold cereal
L: leftovers
D: Marinated Spicy Mango chicken tenders, twice baked potatoes, carrots and peas
Thursday:
B: choice of whatever still needs to be used up
L: leftovers
D: corn dogs, french fries
Friday: Moving Day
B: Whatever is quickest to fix and uses the least amount of dishes
L: Take out fried chicken from KFC
D: Ordering pizza to feed all of the friends who are helping us move

Ooh, the spicy mango chicken sounds delish, do you have a recipe?

Your menu looks very tasty! I wish I could plan ahead and stick to it! Good luck with moving and unpacking.

Amanda, you guessed the letters correctly! If you want to email me at Lindyd1011@aim.com , I will be happy to discuss your prize. I think it will be a beautiful door mat from Southern Living at Home. If you like it, of course. Congratulations!

I just found your blog and saw that you're in the throes of pantry cooking.

I did that in December and January. What an eye opener, for sure!

I'm glad to see I'm not the ONLY one to have a general store in my house LOL!

If you'd like to see my "experience," go to my blog and click on the picture of the vintage lady cooking in her kitchen.

Enjoy your freedom from the grocery store!
