This morning in church, our pastor spoke of how we, as Christians, can stay "on Fire" for Jesus. On of his main points was that we need to be able to sit still and listen to the voice of God, as He directs us in what to do and how to deal with situations that arise.
This is an area that I often struggle with. A lot of times, I think that *I* know what is best. God is telling me to do something, but I simply don't want to sit still and listen to Him. I want to do what I want to do, and what I think is best, and most of the time, I'm wrong. I really took these words to heart this morning, and have prayed, and will continue to pray, for His guidance in this area. I will update on my progress.
